Development Screenings and Special Education Services
Children’s Learning Center offers comprehensive developmental screenings to all young children in Teton and Sublette Counties from birth through five years of age at no charge to the families. Screening is essential to identify and address developmental needs, as well as hearing and vision challenges, as they arise. The state of Wyoming recommends that every child has a developmental screening before they reach age 2, and another prior to kindergarten.
Children’s Learning Center is the state appointed organization to provide therapy services, special education resources, and coordination of care for families who have a child or children who will benefit from special education services. These services are also provided at no cost to families. Additionally, Children’s Learning Center provides special education resources to the community, training for all childcare providers, speakers for community organizations and participates with other agencies to help families.
