Anne Fish is currently a motivational speaker and author of the best-selling book “Riskformation”. Her previous life experiences are varied and include teacher, marketing director, flight attendant, cycling guide and Formula 1 Racing Promotion! She enjoys golf, hiking and skiing when she’s not traveling internationally or touring the country with her husband Jim Wunsch in their recently purchased Airstream. Anne has danced from an early age and was a member of the UW dance team Wildfire…the team performed at 2 NFL halftime shows during her tenure! Dancing for us this year was a way to challenge herself while helping others, which was a win-win decision!

Rod Everett was born in Casper, Wyoming and has lived in Jackson for 42 years! He has one daughter Kymberlee Everett. He has a bachelors’ degree in Business from UW and moved to Jackson for a great job and opportunity to get out of his windy hometown! He is currently an owner of The Liquor Store at Albertson’s and The World Famous Stagecoach Bar in Wilson. “The Rodfather”, as he is affectionately known around town, enjoys dancing, boating of all types, motorcycling, and eating and drinking great food and wine. His niece and dance partner Anne Fish got him on board, but “the kids” are what ultimately motivated him to commit.

Bernadette Gwilliam was born in Jackson Hole…along with all 6 of her sisters! She briefly lived in Seattle to attend Cosmetology school and returned to take a position at Frost Salon. She enjoys trail riding with her horses and tending to her small herd of goats in her downtime and collects doll heads! Bern decided to dance for us after working with past dancer’s hair and makeup needs. In addition, she felt school was difficult for her and the need to support education for our children is the best way to give them success.

Dane Corry was born in Austin, TX and moved to Jackson 10 years ago to work with a family with a special needs child. He holds a Bachelors in Early Education and a Masters in Special Education. Dane currently works as a Special Education Teacher at Jackson High School and runs a kids summer camp as well as coaching multiple sports disciplines. When he’s not coaching or volunteering at JH Therapeutic Riding Association, he enjoys skiing, climbing, kayaking, rafting and biking. Although this is not his first dance completion…he chose to participate in this year’s event as he as first-hand experience working with CLC and our students and felt it was a great way to give back.

With a relationship that began on the dance floor of the Mangy Moose over two decades ago, it’s surely destiny that Courtney and Chip Marvin are finally making their debut turn with the Children’s Learning Center’s Dancing with the Jackson Hole Stars! Courtney is the founder and former owner of the Sunshine Station, now Bright Beginnings, Preschool. She currently works with young parents at Climb Wyoming, maintains her own private counseling practice, and consults with agencies helping them in the mission of raising socially and emotionally healthy children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, fitness, and supporting conservation of African wild lands and of elephants in particular.

Chip is a real estate broker with RE/MAX Obsidian Real Estate, most recently involved with the relaunch of the Snake River Sporting Club. Chip’s community involvement include ten years as an active volunteer and board member for the Farmer’s Market on the Town Square, starting the Jackson Hole July 4th Kids Games, and serving as Treasurer and other positions at St. John’s Episcopal Church. In his spare time, he enjoys adventure travel, mountain biking, bee keeping, camping and enjoying everything Jackson Hole has to offer with Courtney and their not-so-little CLC alums Lily and Harry.

Danielle was born in Colorado and also attended the University of Denver, where she met Tom. After receiving Masters Degree in Educational Child Psychology and and MBA in Health Administration, she moved to Jackson to be with Tom. There are now married and proud parents of a baby girl! She is the owner of Pursue Movement Studio in Jackson and enjoys yoga and barre, being outside and live music. She was also motivated to dance with her husband because of her love of dancing.

Tom was born in Chigaco and has lived in Jackson for the past 13 years. He attended the Denver University and moved to Jackson for the love of snow. He is dancing with his lovely wife Danielle and has a daughter, Hannah and a dog, Jaycee. Tom is a ski instructor at JHMR during the winter and owns Open Source Adventure Summer camp as well. He relaxes by riding motorcycles and archery. One little known fact about Tom…he hates llamas! His love of dancing was the motivation behind his decision to dance for us.

Daniela Peterson was born in the Patagonia region of Chile in the town of Puerto Montt. Her journey to Jackson Hole began 13 years ago in Patagonia, when she met her soon –to-be husband Ryan while he was on a fly fishing trip to the region. They now have 2 beautiful children, Sofia, age 9 and Nico, age 4. Daniela holds a Masters Degree in Psychology and his the owner of La Familia Counseling Services, a multi-cultural mental health practice that provides services in English/Spanish/Czech and Slovak languages for children and adults. Interestingly, her first job in Jackson was with the Head Start program at CLC! Before becoming a psychologist, she wanted to be a comedian actress! She loves spending time with her children and listening to all types of music, especially classical. Daniela has always been involved with non-profits in our community and part of her support for CLC stems from her knowledge as a mother that reliable, affordable, quality childcare is key to fostering successful career women in Jackson.

Jorge Olivares was born in Santiago, Chile and has lived in Jackson Hole for the last 2 years. He decided to move here from Barcelona after vacationing here to visit family so that he could be closer to them. Jorge holds an Associate’s Degree in Law and is currently the owner of Patagonia Painting. He also likes to work as a clown for community children’s events. He enjoys hiking, biking, photography and music as well as juggling and doing magic tricks! Besides being a stunt double (often the naked version of an actor!) he also was in the first reality TV show in Chile and is quite famous in his own country!

Nida, short for Lyhnida, was born in Tirana, Albania where she studied architecture before coming to the US to earn a BA in Interior Design from BYU. She moved to Jackson 3 years ago to become the Design Director of WRJ Design. Her husband is Dionis Risto. Nida enjoys playing the violin, exploring photography and art, studying new languages and of course, dancing! She agreed to dance for us this year because it incorporates 2 things she loves…dancing and giving back to her community.

Ben was born in Cheyenne, WY but his parents met in Jackson in 1967. He attended UNLV for hospitality and moved to Jackson in 1996. He includes 2 Norfolk Island Pines named Simon and Tracy as family members! After managing Rancho Alegre and opening Restaurant Terroir, Ben discovered he enjoyed working with metal and made the switch to artist and designer in 2001. He enjoys dancing and participating in all the outdoor pursuits Jackson has to offer and was a freeskier in the 80’s…and yes that did include ballet skiing! Ben decided to dance for us because he volunteered for CLC when he first moved to town and realized what an invaluable service they provide to the community.

Patti is best known now as the executive director of Children’s Learning Center, a position she has been delighted to have for 6 years. After years of talking other people into dancing, her friends, former dancers and staff pushed her over the cliff this year and convinced her to dance. While Patti is over the moon about CLC and the kids and staff, she has a long history of shame and embarrassment associated with dancing. Patti and the Moose Hockey guys are dancing for the CLC faculty….and want to highlight that the CLC staff is a great group of 89 dedicated early education professionals who are changing the lives of hundreds of young kids every year…working long hours often for less pay than they are worth….to educate and enrich kids, support families and help kids with special needs reach their full potential. Patti has lived in the valley for 38 years and has one daughter and 5 grandchildren.

Tom Hartnett was born in New York City and attended Wesleyan University. He moved to Jackson 2 years ago to take advantage of our abundant outdoor activities. He enjoys fishing, skiing, mountain biking and hiking and works as a fishing guide with the Wyoming Angling Company. It’s a good thing drift boats don’t have steering wheels since a little know fact about Tom is that he can’t turn left!! When he’s relaxing, he likes to spend time with his dog, Lady. He decided to get involved with CLC when the Moose hockey team asked him to dance this year and he felt it was a great cause to support.

Sean Hannapin was born in Medford, Massachusetts and attended Mooresville State University in New York. Playing for the Moose Hockey team brought him to Jackson 12 years ago, and he is now married to Allison and has 4 beautiful children-Mackenzie, Christian, Gabe and Hallie. When he is not working for Spring Creek Ranch, he enjoys playing hockey, softball and golf and watching Grey’s Anatomy! Sean decided to dance for CLC this year because is youngest child Mackenzie was born premature and they receive support with her development through our programs.

Kyle C. Krauss was born in Chicago, Illinois and received a BA in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He moved to Jackson 4 years ago and enjoys our small- town atmosphere and the beauty of or natural surroundings. He is currently the Business Manager for Medicine Wheel Wellness and when not working, he enjoys playing Moose Hockey, fishing, golfing, playing softball, camping and gardening! Kyle agreed to dance for CLC this year to support his belief in quality youth development programs and get more involved in our community.

Chase Wharton was born in Richland, Washington and received a BA in Recreation Management before moving to Jackson 7 months ago. He currently works at Spring Creek Ranch and is pursuing a career in the hospitality industry as well as playing for the Moose Hockey team and working with the JH youth hockey club. This surprisingly tall 6’5” dancer enjoys hiking and riding street bikes when he is not dancing his tail off! Chase agreed to dance this year to further help our organization’s path and to meet other community leaders with a passion for supporting Jackson’s philanthropy.
